It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ms. Rani Bala Mehta on Friday, June 7th, 2024 in Calgary, Alberta, at the age of 73 years. She was wife of the late Mr. Devi Dayal Mehta. Rani was born in Sonipat, India and was the eldest of seven children. She leaves behind a beautiful legacy, of 3 children, 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
She loved to travel and spend time with her grandkids and was an impeccable chef with a heart of gold. Her presence will be forever missed, and she truly lived her life as a queen, the english translation of her name ‘Rani’.
She will be lovingly remembered by her eldest daughter, Ruby, and son-in-law Naresh, as well as her elder son, Pawan and daughter-in-law, Komal and finally, her younger son, Rajneesh and daughter-law, Shikha. Her sweet touch and love will be dearly missed by her seven grandchildren, Palak, Mehul, Raghumani, Kabir, Anish, Anya, Anay and her one great grand-daughter, Tyra.
Her warmth, kindness, and laughter will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends.
